Business Plan for the Production and Distribution of Rabbit and Lamb Meat Products in Guanacaste, Costa Rica

Abstract

This business plan analyses the main factors of the production and distribution of rabbit and lamb meat can take place in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The plan also evaluates on both national and international levels the behavior of the industry and the market in relation to products. The project consists of an operation plan, the organization of teams, a global program, an analysis of risks, critical problems and assumptions, and a financial-economic study combined with an analysis of financial results using a simulated statistical effective flow method (Monte Carlo). The results of the business plan showed that there was a net value of US$ 134,215.00 for the production of rabbit meat, with a 0 % chance of a obtaining a negative net value. As for the lamb meat, there was a net value of US$ 75,448.00 with a 9 % chance of obtaining a negative net value.
